Introduction

Thrive Dietician is a web application designed to support dieticians in managing their patients and appointments. While an existing mobile app allows users to book sessions with dieticians, this web platform was developed to streamline the experience for dieticians, enabling them to efficiently oversee their schedules, patient details, and interactions.

Research and Discovery 🔍

Reviewing the Mobile App📱

To ensure a smooth transition between the mobile and web platforms, I conducted a thorough review of the existing mobile app. This helped identify the key features that needed to be synchronized with the web app, such as appointment scheduling, patient records, and notifications.

Interviews with Dieticians 👨‍⚕️🧑‍⚕️

I interviewed several practicing dieticians to understand their pain points and requirements. They provided insights into their daily workflows, challenges with patient management, and features they would find beneficial in the web app.

Competitive & Design Research 💫

For design inspiration and best practices, I explored platforms like Dribbble and Behance. Additionally, I reviewed third-party applications like Calendly to understand how scheduling and appointment management functionalities are implemented effectively.

Login and Forgot Password: To access your account with their credentials. If they forget their password, they can easily reset it via email.
Sign Up: To create a new account quickly.
Patients Management:View and manage patient records, including appointments and health history.
My Data Management:Keep track of your personal and professional information in one place for easy access and updates.
Calendar Management:Schedule, track, and manage your appointments and important events seamlessly.
Payments and Bank Account Management:Handle transactions, view payment history, and manage bank account details.

Color Styles 🎨

The primary color used in the design is #264934, giving the web app a professional and calming aesthetic suitable for healthcare professionals.

Typography 🖍

I used Supreme and Nunito fonts. Supreme adds a modern and sophisticated touch, enhancing the web app’s professionalism, while Nunito ensures readability with its rounded, friendly style. The combination creates a balanced, user-friendly experience tailored for dieticians.

This project demonstrates the power of thoughtful design and technology in improving healthcare services, ultimately allowing dieticians to focus more on patient care and less on administrative tasks.
